Costco has a thing where you can pay $300 for two years... Issue is that you pay upfront.

That's a pretty good deal, especially if they have one of those $100 a year re-ups they do at the end of the term.

The costco deal seems pretty darn good... breaks out to $12 and some change per month... I guess I'll buy a costco membership to buy a 24 hr fitness membership.

You might know someone with a membership then just give them the money to get it.

Also my mom had a Costco membership and cancelled because it was too far and they refunded all of her money on the membership...

OTHER ISSUE:There is no renewal it's just two years flat.
Includes all sport locations.. Does not include super sport or ultra sport locations

I bought a 3 year deal for $695 which included 5 trainer sessions and a bunch of their EAS protein snacks. After 3 years it's $27 a year with a maximum annual increase of 3%.

Includes any club other than Ultra Sports and we don't have any of those around here.

The trick really is finding one of two things. One finding a sales person who isn't a snake, which is hard to do or going in on typically the second and 4th Thursday of every month. Those are quote unquote closeouts and when sales people can drop the price or are encouraged to.

My deal was to pay for the first year up front, the next two years were free and then $29.00 a year, every year for life after that. That was for all Super Sports. It was around $700.00 two years ago. I also got five training sessions. I used them to powerlift with one of their trainers that has won some championships. They really do not advertise those deals. You have to ask and they are always different depending on which one you go to and who you talk to. It is typical sales IMHO. It looks like I got the same deal as BP.

Just keep your eyes open on specials. They run them at various times.

I prepaid 3 years and now only pay $24/yr.

Typically you go to the gym, tell them you work somewhere and they let you know what deal they are offering that companies employees. It's not a requirement that you have a gym membership.

$0 for an all club, due to my girlfriend working there. If and when she quits I'll look into doing a 3 year prepay.
