Down to 174 from 185, primarily due to diet change. Watching my food and controlling my portions. Guess some of that metabolism is still there

Worked out the first week, but been busy doing other things the last two weeks. Hope to get back to it this weekend.

I've only lost about 8-10 lbs on the scale, but the strength is steadily rising. Diet has been near perfect, and I've been getting 30 minutes of cardio twice a day during the week. I don't see my size coming back any time soon, but at least my fat pants are fitting looser.

Im gonna start working on the actual diet thing next week. I have a pretty good plan but we'll have to wait and see how close I can stick to it..

I'm doing ok. I got some tendonitis in my elbow but that is about it. Its probably because I'm working bench press and triceps heavier. I am running a 5k tomorrow as part of a work charity event.

I appreciate the vote of confidence, but there are a couple contestants that have already lost almost double what I have. I'm trying to atrophy any more muscle, so I'm taking the slow and steady approach. I'm also not taking any supps other than C and a multi.

I'm only on a mutli, fish/flax, and I'll do 4-5 more weeks on creatine in a few weeks. So I understand. I'm more concerned with getting in shape for my life then this contest really. It's just something to help track my progress and slight motivation.

I might consider creatine for the final month of the contest to fill out a little, it really depends on how lean I get. Fat loss is my priority right now, I'll start putting size back on when the tme is right, which may not be until next winter.

It's gonna be a single summer, gotta get this weight off before lake seasin gets here.

I've been doing pretty well, up till this week. Hadn't missed a day in the gym till Monday. My babysitter bailed on me this week and my wife was out of state dealing with a death in the family so I only made to the gym once this week.

Also I pretty much have to drop out since I'm leaving for Afganastan on the 24th to set up a new base. So I won't really have access to a gym to help me get any bigger. Oh well, I'll still do a bunch of push-ups, pull-ups and any other kind of exercise I can come up with.

Fortunately he dropped the gun and the bullet was intercepted!

Eh, I don't know about much physical transformation. I am getting stronger though. I won't say what my bench is, but I started lifting again around Feb 1 and since then, I've increased my bench by 70 lbs. My form is getting better on many of my exercises as well. My stomach was so weak, I had to literally jerk myself up when I was doing situps/crunches. That was creating a bit of stress on my lower back. Now I'm able to do controlled situps/crunches with proper form.

No idea, I haven't really been watching the scale. I'm around 225 right now. I been lifting heavy and taking some creatine and that keeps a lot of weight on me. I'll be cutting that out and doing more cardio as time goes by.

They just never get it, do they? Some people just don't have the drive, or the willingness to sacrifice. But, in return, they get a body they aren't happy with.

Well, I'm not in the contest, but I was last year. I fell out early because I had to go to training towards the end of it. But I've been steady resuming my goal of getting to 190+ pounds at <13% body fat. I was 164 at the end of the summer. I'm up to 185 now at 14% bf.
