Apples

alright, i was told that if you're trying to lose weight, you shouldn't eat apples, but this doesn't sound right to me. I'm sure they're carbs, but i'd figure that would be "good" carbs?

if so, i'm going to have to find something else to eat between meals. I usually eat on of those little Gala Apples for a snack in the morning before lunch and around 4 before i eat my dinner when i get home at 6ish.

So, do i need to find another snack? I like almonds, but how much do i eat when snacking between meals?

You're fine, fruit is the last thing you should be worried about.

Yup, whoever told you that is referring to the amount of sugar in it.
Fructose is found in fruit and is easily burnt off... you will be FINE.

Exactly. Any mono or disaccharide sugar is fine. It's when you get to the tri and polysaccharides that your body has trouble breaking them down.

Nah. Just something I learned in biology. Basically, natural sugars are easy to break down. Not the processed sugars like high fructose corn syrup which it what you'll find in sodas, candy, etc...
