Best suppliments to take for gaining weight?

I'm sure it's been covered before, but I'm looking to gain about 10lbs in about the next month to 6 weeks and would like to gain a total of 25 in the next year.

Just wondering what kind of things you guys would recommend to help out with muscle growth, recovery, and weight gain.

Is it realalistic to think that I could gain 25lbs of lean muscle in a years time frame w/o using steriods? I'll be working out 5 days a week.

Also any kind of work out routines you can recommend that help build strength the fastest. Thanks for your help.

Diet, diet, and diet.. a gram of protein for every pound you want to weigh daily.

Aminos, a good creatine, plenty of rest, and water like a mofo.

Right now I'm 5'10'' and weigh 146 according to the scale at the gym today. I would like to get to 170. I know it will take some time and ALOT of work. My metabolism is rediculously high. Two years ago I managed to get to 160, but then quit making time to go to the gym and lost it all.

Edit: Forgot, I'm 29 and as far as experiance goes, I'm not brand new to lifting but I'm no expert either. I'm under the impression that if your trying to get stronger and build muscle it's better to do heavier weight, fewer reps and more sets. I just don't know if there is an optimum number or if it's different for eveyone and you just have to figure out what works for your body.

Right now I'm working out chest monday, back tuesday, arms wed, shoulders thurs, and legs on friday. I'm open to any suggestions on routine changes that will get me the best results. I have about an hour and a half I can spend in the gym every day at lunch. This has been my first week and I've been finishing up in about 45min working out by myself.

Sounds like you got it figured out. Stack a high cal Protein and a good dose of Creatine say 7 grams a day half pre workout and half post.

Any creatine mono is what i like the best.

You'll have to explain what BCAA's are, thats not one I'm framiliar with. I'll check out your site when I get home tonight.

I think with your height and weight you are going to have to consume a lot of protein / calories,...... food in general.

track your workouts and continue to increase weight with your gains,.

Dont do the same weight for 6 months at a time ( obvious i know, )

You have a really high metabolism. Fat people would kill for that

The more i think about it, i think the NO Xplode i was taking is what was giving me my results. This may seem like an exaggeration but a lot of my gains started coming when i started taking Creatine. Not to mention its also when Don was accusing me of taking PHs to.

So i guess what i am saying is, is give No Explod a shot, but also make sure your diet is tits or else youre wasting your time.

Yes, i personally use Orange Triad for my multi. It's more that just a multi though.

I was taking 200+ grams of protein a day last year when i went from 137 to 165..
I also was eating literally, non stop. Oatmeal, protein bars, bread, rice, all the time.

I was taking Muscle milk if you wanted ot know.

Yeah, not realistic without something illegal, or prohormones. I took Universal's Animal Test and gained/kept 7 lbs from that, and even not on a proper diet, so maybe that's something to research way down the road. But these guys are right on with what they're telling you. Diet, and smart lifting will take you far.

Total. 25 lbs in a year is possible, but not in muscle alone. I went from 137 - 165 in about 8 months or so. While i gained a lot of muscle and was stronger, i also put on fat but thats inevitable.

I think 1cc of test / 1cc of Deca a week for 12 weeks would get you that 25lbs you are looking for in about 3 months. Now, You will lose about 15 of that when you come off,,, however, you will gain the weight. You will fill out,

Combine all of this with some growth, in about two years you have will have 25lbs of quality , lean muscle

They actually return to normal size after about a month or so, once natural testosterone production returns. At least mine did. And I think a 3 month regime of D-Bol might gain you even more weight than just 25 lbs, that's a heck of a long cycle. But steroids are bad, never do steroids.

Not really even entertaining the thought of doing steroids. Stupid thing to get kicked out of the military for, when all you need is some patience and hard work to get close to the same result.

It's no big deal if it's not possible to make my goal in a years time frame, I'm just going to try like hell to do it.

I did it, but thats all i did every day for close to 8 months. It is possible and gains only get harder the larger you get.

Sorry, didn't mean to make you think I was trying to sell the idea of steroids to you, my comment was actually directed at hecdoggie. You can definitely make some huge strides in a years time. Maybe not 25 lbs, but maybe not far off either. All depends on your work ethic and your consistency. Good luck with your goals man, it can be done!

I'm not offended at all, if I wasn't in the military I would almost definitely do a cycle or two for the quick gain and then just maintain. Since I don't want to risk getting busted I'll just have to do it the old fasiond way.

It's best the old fashioned way anyways, though frustrating when you want those results to come so much quicker than they typically do! I'm frustrated with myself that certain body parts or muscle groups seem to want to be so stubborn. I'm like, your twin on the left over here is doing just fine, so what's your problem???

I'm working out at the gym on the base. Tons of equipment and more weights than you can shake a stick at. The only thing they lack right now is a power lifting room, but that's not really what I'm after right now anyway.

I wouldn't advise an AAS cycle (roids) for anyone that hasn't been working out for at least 4-5 serious years. You still have a lot of genetic potential to unlock before you decide on that stuff anyways. It's the easy way out. If you are trying to gain weight I think 1.5 grams per lb of body weight would work. That is whole food and protein shakes, not just in shakes like you were asking earlier. You could probably gain some good weight with some mass gainers, you have a high enough metabolism to burn off the extra calories they carry.

Yeah, I have a friend that won a body building competition out in Iraq while he was there and is suppose to be going pro here in the next couple of months.

There are all kinds of steroids being taken throughout the corps, it would be just my luck that I would get caught. I don't think there is a policy against Pro hormones though. I will most definitely talk to Greg bout getting some after the transformation thing is over.

Just so you know, PH's can cause a positive test result. However, how many times in anyones life can they say that they've been tested for steriods.

Almost all of the over the counter "pro hormones" on the market are active steriods that need no coversion really. i.e. Superdrol, Epistane, Pheraplex for example all steriods! Superdrol(Masteron) has shown to be more anabolic than Dbol and it's sold over the counter. haha It has a androgenic/anabolic ratio of 20:1.

its very possible to add 25lbs in 12 months dont let any one tell you different! ive put on about 12 lbs in 4 months and this supp gfuide will deff help!!

right when you wake up but no more than 60 minutes before breakfast
take
Whey protein, Gatorade,Carnitine, bcaas

About one hour before workouts
take
Arginine ,Caffeine

Within 30 minutes of workouts
take
Whey protein,Creatine ,Carnitine

Immediately after workouts
take
Whey protein, Casein protein, Gatorade, Creatine,Carnitine, bcaa

Immediately before bed
take
Casein protein

any creatine mono will work great and i get all powders to mix together i really dont like the pills to much! a good and fairly cheap brand for everything is ON! its what i use and its always worked well! good luck bro and work hard supps wont do it all alone!

I know I can gain 25lbs in 12 months, I have no doubt about that. Putting on 25lbs of lean muscle is the hard part. I gained 15-18lbs in three months a couple years ago, but a lot of that was water weight and it didn't take it very long to go away once I quit going to the gym.

If it takes longer to get to my goal thats fine, I'm just really going to try and get it done as soon as possible.

go order some extreme tren, just make sure that you have a good pct afterwards. maybe this time i can post it in the right thread lol

I've but on 55lbs of lean muscle in the last 3 years with pics to prove it.
I've use a PH twice during that time so it's all fake muscle though.

I wouldn't call it fake muscle, you just had a little "help." You still have to go the gym and bust your ass everyday.

greg how do you like the evo stack you have on your sight? I'm pretty sure that I can't use that during the transformation, but was just wondering how well it worked or if you had something else that you liked better.

The evo stack has no PH's and can be used during the contest. It's ok for what it is. Helps build free test along with other things...
You should able to gain at least a solid 5-10lbs off that kit.

its $30 a bottle and with the pct i got it all came out to be $60 even. go to tffsupplements.com they got alot of good shit there
