The strawberry is like a damn milk shake...I was talking to the guy I lift with...

He's like be careful, you are trying to cut some fat too...you drink it like you want to and you'll be 280 lbs and not in a good way!

On a side note, yesterday was the most packed i have ever seen a 24hour fitness.. I had to park next to the access road it was so fricken busy. Not to mention it looked like a prison once i walked in. haha

I fucking hate working out with a shit ton of people. I try and go mid day when its mainly the stay at home milfs are at the gym or late at night.

I live in Irving at the City of Irving truck yard with a buddy everyday after work at 5 as of now. What do you do on saturday's (workout/muscle group) and what time? If he can't lift on a day I might make the trek out there.

Weekends are different so i cant really say. It just depends on whats going on. I sometimes go in the am or evening but it just really depends. I like working out with 1-2 people simply because it keeps the motivation going and of course the spot.

I did one shake this morning, I have some isopure at work (tastes like ass) if I need a snack up here. I'll have one post workout with milk for recovery and then a light dinner.

edit* think of it like this...how many shakes/meal replacments do you get out of one tub though? You would spend more then the $27 or so bucks a week on those meals.

Well, here's the recommendations off the Lockout site:

Males:

As a dietary supplement, take 2 scoops (equaling approx. 44 grams of protein) with 8-10 oz. of cold water or any beverage of your choice. Use approximately 4-5 oz of liquid per 1 scoop of powder. Vary the amount of liquid to achieve your desired flavor and consistency. So I've been doing 2 scoops 2x a day with 2% milk. That's good for about 108g of protein. I weigh 190, so I try to get about 200g of protein in a day. It's the 2 scoops each serving that makes it go fast, effectively making it only 15 servings per container. At 2 a day, that's about 1 jug a week.

Nate has a good way of looking at it though. I probably easily spend $25 a week on snacks and crap. I've barely eaten out in the last week, so I guess it's a fair trade off.

Shutup, bitch. I've dropped 10 lbs in the past 4 weeks.

I doubt I'll go to day. If it gets icy I really don't want to be on the roads with all of the dumbasses. I'll probably just ride the bike inside for a few hrs.

Not the weight I have you wouldn't. When I was younger I had a 6 pack at 185lb, hoping to get down in the 195lb range again. Staying in the 225 range right now since I'm sick. Don't even want to talk about lifting, I just started lifting again 3 weeks ago. I feel like suck a puss compaired to what I used to be able to do and I'm not even going to brag about that.

I'm starting to hit the gym tomorrow. Reading this thread and the transformation one really has me motivated. Two years ago while I was in school I went from 140 to 160 in three months and had some very nice strength gains. Then I got back to work and living with the family again and just didn't make the time to go to the gym anymore and lost it all in less than 6 months.

No more excuses this time, I'm just going to start going tomorrow.

Dallas news reports Tony Romo tried to commit suicide last night!

Fortunately he dropped the gun and the bullet was intercepted!

A max of 325 - I may be able to do it now, I havent tried it..

Thanks guys! I just seen this.

You dont need 2 scoops in one sitting. 45g's at once is too much. If you're taking 2 shakes a day it should last you 15 days. Try and get most of your protein from food sources.


I just drink a shake after workouts.

Mike 300g's a day? That's just crazy.

Thats only with 2 Shakes a day. Usually one in the morning or afternoon and one after i work out. The rest of the protein comes from food. Id rather shit it out then not take enough..

Correction: Its been about 270g protein on average.

Not really...it all depends on your mass.
300g's for some is the norm.


Now for Mike...all he is doing is running a bit rich and creating some blow-by(aka...a bad case of the farts)!
