Funny you said that, cause I ended up doing legs. Not a freakin person anywhere around me. You couldn't get near the machines though.

I went back around 3 to do some cardio, put my bag in the locker, walked into the cardio room, turned around and left. I hate January. And it's only December 29.

Nothing wrong with some folks filling the gyms. Throw them a lil motivation every once in awhile maybe they will take your advice. Strengthen their minds and their bodies will follow.

I have no problem with the 2% who stay, as for the other 98% who pay monthly dues and never show up, I thank them for the new equipment that pops up around February.

Yup.
I try to be as friendly as possible whenever interupting their sets, but yet be pushy enough to get my point across.
I let them KNOW I mean business and they usually understand(like it or not).

Because of the economy i got side tracked for a little bit. I've been putting Lockout money towards more supplements at the moment. It will help make more in the long run for the gym though. I still havent given myself on penny of profit and the inventory and savings is slowly growing.
Maybe by the end of this coming year we will have something open. I did buy 6 machines that i have stored.
People were cutting back everywhere a couple months ago so i didnt thing it was a safe idea for this Jan., hopefully things will get better in the next few months.

The plan is still in effect though!

Just let me know bro. I've got ~650-700lbs of plates and similar in dumbbells I'd consider donating, as long as it's in Mckinney

The gym was oddly peaceful today, even at 530pm.

I guess it will start getting rough Monday.

There was not very many people at the gym maybe 3 people. Its a small place. I think everyone was at the grocery store buying beer and shit. I went in the store and every checkout line there was 4 people.

But the bright side is, I can watch internet porn while I work out.

So basically you're saying your needs are internet porn and you have very little desire to build mass. If you think you're going to build too much muscle doing situps, pushups and jail squats then more power to you. Some people realize that with a dose of motivation, a stocked gym can help you grow far beyond the results you would get at home. BTW: Nice slip, fuckface.

If you wore a suit of assholes cut out with a steak knife and stitched together you would look better than big studly, taking up the left lane.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand.

The gym was nice and quiet today also. The park (River Legacy) though... damn there were a bunch of people! Kids and dogs galore. I rode for an hour and decided I'd had enough. Did some laps through the neighborhood instead.

Well, in five years after 2 million pushups and crunches and never setting foot in a gym, let me know how close to Herschel Walker you are. You can get a good workout and even lose some weight at home.
If you have a decent set of db's and a good set of olympic weights, you can do even better, but you won't build a "World Class" physique doing pushups and situps. There isn't a high school in the land that wouldn't require you to lift weights in football. Did you play high school ball? I'm guessing not. I'm glad you see results, but you are posting in a forum called Pumping Iron, not Pushing Dough. You make uneducated comments and you get flamed, just like the rest of this site.

Jan/Feb is by far the worst time to be in the gym. All the fatties blow the dust off their membership cards and hog up all the equipment. Fortunately they're almost all gone by March.

I already had to move along a few fatty hogs yesterday and left them a nice pile of sweat to workout in...

I also found out that protein farts are a good deterrent as well!

But the bright side is, I can watch internet porn while I work out.

I rigged up my bench so I can get under the bar for squats. You don't need much to really work legs though. I do squats then grab a pair of 45's and do walking lunges till I'm ready to puke or pass out, and it don't take much to get there at that point.

If you dont have weights at home, try some one legged squats!

Lots of stuff to do at home, AND you get to choose the music selection and/or the video selection!!!

I cut one doing hack squats that made me gag. I can't even use soy protein, that crap makes the nastiest gas.
