For those using Venom Hyperdrive 3.0

You might want to check Wednesdays paper...Dallas morning news had an article about Fat burners and this one was on the FDA's not approved list because of one of the ingredients was known to cause cancer. Phenylaline or something like that...Check up on it at the FDA site..I think its banned or something as of recently.

FDA Issues Warning About 25 Weight Loss Products

(December 22, 2008)--The U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued a nationwide alert Monday about 25 weight loss products that contain undeclared, active pharmaceutical ingredients that could put the health of consumers at risk (products are listed below).

The warning was issued after an FDA analysis found pharmaceutical ingredients in some of the products include the controlled substance sibutramine; rimonabant, which is a drug that’s not approved for marketing in the U.S.; phenytoin, which is an anti-seizure medicine, and phenolphthalein, which is a solution used in chemical experiments and which is a suspected cancer-causing agent.

Some of the amounts of active pharmaceutical ingredients far exceeded the FDA-recommended levels, putting consumers' health at risk,” the agency said it a press release issued Monday.

Sibutramine can cause high blood pressure, seizures, tachycardia, palpitations, heart attack or stroke and can also interact with other medications that patients may be taking and increase the risk of adverse drug events, the FDA said.

Rimonabant, which is approved in Europe, has been associated with increased risk of depression and suicidal thoughts and has been linked to five deaths and 720 adverse reactions in Europe over the last two years, the agency said.

The products, some of which are marketed a dietary supplements, are sold on Web sites and in some retail stores, the FDA said.

Some claim to be natural or to contain only herbal ingredients, but actually contain harmful ingredients not listed on labels or in advertising, the FDA said.

“These products have not been approved by the FDA, are illegal and may be potentially harmful to unsuspecting consumers,” the FDA said.

The agency is advising consumers who have used the products to stop taking them and to consult with healthcare providers immediately.

"These tainted weight loss products pose a great risk to public health because they contain undeclared ingredients and, in some cases, contain prescription drugs in amounts that greatly exceed their maximum recommended dosages," said Janet Woodcock, M.D., director, Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, FDA.

"Consumers have no way of knowing that these products contain powerful drugs that could cause serious health consequences. Therefore FDA is taking this action to protect the health of the American public."

The FDA is seeking product recalls and may take additional steps such as issuing warning letters, initiating seizures, injunctions or even criminal charges, the agency said.

The FDA is asking healthcare providers and consumers to report serious side effects or product quality problems to the agency’s MedWatch Adverse Event Reporting program.

The one that "causes" cancer is suspected to cause and it's a very weak amount .

The real problem was the prescription diet meds found in it.
Here lies the problem with supplements that dont have to be approved by the FDA.

You probably have the newer (Hyperdrive 3.0+) version. Would make since that the newer version is much weaker.
It says (Venom Hyperdrive 3.0) is what was tested and that shit was strong.

Turns out the Vemon only had traces of the diet med, not the other things. That was a list of all things found.
Of course im keeping a close eye on this. So sad that Author would do this, after being busted for something similar before.
Funny, i've had many messages asking if can still get the old stuff for them after seeing this on the news, in the paper, or on sites.... and no i cant.

That's like when Phen-Phen was found to give you heart problems because it worked so well. People were trying to buy it up before it was all destroyed. People were willing to risk their lives for that magic pill.

Then again he was barely 50 years old too, but who cares about side effects?

For what it's worth, phenylalanine is aspartame. Check your diet drinks.
