hey all ive recently put on 12 pounds from training in the army(2 gunnerys jrtc battalion lanes all in four month period) i went to the gym before and was at a decent 199 i have been going back to the gym but now purely for weight lifting and i am sitting at 211 and although ive noticed im healthier than before i left for training im not loosing any weight in my mid section my arms and legs are thinner and neck but my abdominal area and moobs wont leave me. i need some good ideas on what works for you. id like to start dieting has soon has possible but dont want to jepordize my weight lifting(no crash diets) im also deploying in jan so if i get started now hopefully i wont fall off again and start with the junk food

This one is pretty easy, to answer at least. That extra belly fat and chest fat is only going away through strict diet and cardio. A lot of people are having more success with high intensity interval cardio, so if you are the type that can't stand doing cardio for an hour, you can get just as much done in half that time, although, 40 minutes is about what I would recommend, about 5-6 times a week after your workout. All this will be pointless if you don't nail down your diet. You will lose some weight, but the belly fat won't go anywhere.
