today is day one of my diet/training!

im no where near like most in this forum..im just your average joe who drinks and is lazy but like to party but we have a contest here at work who can lose the most in one month..not the only reason but i need to lose weight..when i first got on dfwstangs i weighed in around 215..shit years later im around 285 so tonight im gonna start walking and doin misc excerise..i went out and bought some animal cuts training packs..ill have a official weight tonight..wish me luck fellow dfwstangers..this is gonna suck balls but i gotta lose weight!!

yeah lately ive had to move the race car for travis and i cant get in or out...plus you know your fat when ya having trouble with you shoes and socks..i aint even gonna lie!

thanks bro..yeah i need to do something..i use to stay aorund 240-250ish..but since ya may lol but since ive quiting going to clubs and dancing and shit..ive gained all the extra weight..plus eating late after a long night of drinking dont help..

It's all about lifestyle, if you can make a few changes you will get to where you want to be. I was pretty damn active for the longest then just burned myself out, after putting on some weight I got back on track and it just feels better overall. Staying in shape or at least healthy is the key to living longer

i realized i had to do something as soon as fuck when i started sweating and out of breath doing simple things as taking a shit..running to catch the phone ringing..cooter no bullshit wanna see something really funny watch me clinb in and out of the race car..something use to be so simple years ago is a nightmare..i can feel my gut pinch together trying to mangle my way out of the cage!plus you noticed your knots on your shoes are more to the outer edge..cause you tied them funny working around your belly!

How about when you gotta leave your pants unbuttoned and halfway unzipped and just have your shit held together with the belt. Then when you sit down to eat you gotta undo the belt too. Sometimes I would forget and damn near lose my britches in a restaurant getting up to leave.

How about when you need to get down on the ground for something, but halfway down you stop, stand back up straight, and try a different angle on how you're gonna get down there. I call that the pump fake. I start looking around for something to grab ahold of to help me get down. That seems even harder than getting back up.

I'm the fattest I've ever been right now. I'm around 205lbs and haven't worked out in a good 3-4 months. I wish I could say that I have a good reason but I don't. Just got lazy. I'm hoping to get back into the groove here soon. I joined a softball team just to start being a little more active so maybe that will help. Oh well.

i walked 2.5 miles yesterday in about 45 mins..threw on a trash bag underneath my shit to make me sweat more..and im feeling it this morning..my legs are hurting...went out last night and had nothing but water..

Dont put bags on Chris. Its real hard on your kidneys. It will help raise your HR a bit but your better off walking a little faster and rasing your HR that way.

The key to weight loss is WATER. You should be drinking at the very least a gallon a day.

My gym is not far from you or jluv if you guys ever wanna stop by.

ive cut out cokes almost 99.9 percent..and i dunno exactly how much water i drink but its a lot..as for the bag you shoudl have seen how much it made me sweat over not wearing one on day one..

dang, congrats Chris even if it took a bet$$ to get you motivated. Main thing is your health, I have been cleaning up what I eat/drink & portions & how late, and that alone I have been losing weight & feeling better. Not I gotta put my gym membership to use more.

I know it will make you sweat, just try not to make it an every day thing. Far as the water goes, try and keep track the best you can. Like I said a good starting point for you is about a gallon.

BTW eat the bread just try and make sure its wheat.

Keep up the work Chris, I'll agree with them on the water. I haven't had a coke in 2 weeks and took my first sip of one last night and couldn't stand it. For the trash bag, you should go out and get yourself a long sleeve under armor shirt, put that on and throw a hoodie or zip up sweatshirt on over it when you walk. It'll definitely make you sweat.
