One year of progress...

I went and dug up my first pics from when I started working out, and did a side-by-side with the same poses to see some differences. LOL, aside from the tan I think it's for the better. I was 145 lbs when those first photos were taken. currently I'm around 156 and obviously leaner.

Very impressive progress, and it's been fun hearing about your "journey" on the forums alongside the head injuries suffered throughout...haha

It seems you recognize nearly all muscle groups in your training routines. I'm glad you also recognize the importance of a damn tan now...haha. It's crazy what a little color will do to a person. Lucky for me it's natural...but I'm still down to hit a tanning bed here and there.

As a bit of constructive criticism...you have great delts, but it seems you could stand to do a bit of matching with the upper traps. Maybe it's the pose, or maybe it's just my personal preference on trap size however.

But again...GREAT work, it's very apparent that you're gained ~15lbs of lean mass while decreasing body fat...and people say it's not possible.

What is your delt/shoulder workout btw? I need a little help on my delts.

Gaining weight, while keeping off the fat. Killer work. Now lets see if you can do again for the next year.

Outstanding Don (I'm jealous!)
Then again, I've only been back in the gym for 4 months.

Progress becomes much slower as you get closer to your genetic potential. It would take a needle or two to put on much more mass/strength. Not that I need to get any bigger, but maintenance lifting can get a little monotonous.

Kinda like how the last 5lbs is much more difficult to lose than the 10-15 before it.

I see. It's like a woman becoming obsessed with losing more and more weight. I used to think I needed to be thinner when I was 115 lbs. and a size 0. Thank goodness I didn't get any smaller. I'd kill to be that "fat" again. LOL And if/when I do get that small again I will NOT complain!
