Anyone experienced this before? I honestly thought it'd go away after a couple days but my anterior deltoid has been twitching like crazy on and off going on 2 weeks now. It isn't painful by any means but it's annoying as hell. It never twitches during/after workouts but will start randomly out of nowhere and pulse for 20 minutes or so, quit, then resume again anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour later. Majority of the time it's just a slow repetitive light twitch but there are times it's violently uncomfortable.
From what I can remember, it somewhat reminds me of simple fasciculation which can be caused by potassium or magnesium deficiencies, dehydration, stimulants or stress/anxiety. There has been no recent change in my diet, supplements, or workouts . . . I eat healthy 5-6 meals a day, drink plenty of fluids, don't drink sodas or energy drinks, don't take any sort of stimulant, and the only stress I'm experiencing is b/c of the spasms themselves. All I can think of is muscle fatigue due to over-exertion or something like that - but I get plenty of rest and don't power-lift so I can't see that honestly being the cause.
Any ideas on causes or personal solutions to try? Can't see the doctor until next Thursday as for it isn't serious enough for them to squeeze me in until then . . .
