Like I said last week, I won't be winning this thing. Not enough weight dropped (still 210-212). But, my lifts have gone up.
For example, (the actual movements aren't exactly the same, but I think the numbers still show progress)...
Here's my progress over the last 6 weeks:
Incline bench (DB, negatives) - 65x14, 64x8, 65x6, 65x5
Decline bench (barbell) - 185x10, 205x8, 225x7, 245x6
Flat bench (DB) - 75x12, 75x6, 75x3
Cable pulldowns - 90x16, 100x12, 110x10
Seated dips (legs out straight, hands on bench) - bodyweight x 20, bodyweight x 20, bodyweight x 20,
Flat bench (barbell) - 135x10, 225x8, 245x5, 275x2
DB Flyes - 60x10, 60x6, 60x5
Incline bench (DB) - 90x7, 90x6, 90x4
Skullcrushers - 75x12, 90x7, 90x10
Cable pulldowns - 100x16, 110x12, 130x10
Seated dips (legs out straight, hands on bench) - bodyweight x 20, bodyweight +30lbs x 30
I definitely feel stronger (thanks, Don
)... but I simply lack(ed) the cardio motivation to make it really noticable. I'm trying to force myself into it now. That, and I need to work on the diet. It's not the calorie count I'm concerned with, but cleaning it up and getting the protein intake up where it needs to be.
