Week #4 Weigh-In : 1/3rd of the way!

That's right boys and girls, we only have 59 more days left. How we doin'?

Weighed at 247.5 this morning. That's a total of 16.5 lbs lost for me so far. If I manage to lose another 30 by the time this thing is over, I'll be a happy, much smaller man. Could be an uphill battle though. I've been lifting pretty hard, and I imagine that the weight loss is going to taper off as I get more lean. Either way, this contest has already been a success for me.

I should have weighed in this morning. I puked at least a dozen times yesterday. 5 times early on in a leg workout. If I hadn't been at the gym with Don and Matt, I would have called it quits and went home. Puking was bad enough, I couldn't look like a total bitch in front of them, so once the room stopped spinning I got back at it.

My weight is still about the same, but I am definitely noticing some strength gains. I'm definitely pushing myself harder than I have in a loooong time but I need more cardio. Gotta drop some lbs.

I've slacked off this past week.. I worked out as usual, but my diet was not good.

I am back on track starting this morning so i'll be fine. I'm not sure on my weight, but my pants are alot more loose than before.

They use to be snug, but now I am pull them off with them still zipped and buttoned ;p

There's a fine line between dedicated and dumb. I've been one to hit the gym with a full blown flu, and it took twice as long to get over. Your body needs time to heal, not for you break it down some more.

Oh, if it would have been the flu, I wouldn't have even left the house. It was weird. I felt decent, I just couldn't keep anything down. It had to be something I ate late Friday/early Saturday. Aside from sore legs, I feel great today.

I see your point and you're absolutely right. My ego got in the way of better judgement. I told the guys I would be there and I couldn't let myself flake on the first time meeting up with them. If I hadn't told them I would be there, I would have stayed home. I follow all the advice you've given me closely. I'm taking note on this as well.

I'm not in the competition, but I have been adhering to being in the gym 6 days a week,
1.5 hrs a day(4:45am), and 2 hrs on the 6th day(7am sat leg day).
Diet has been very good as well.
I have seen a drastic change in my body in the last few weeks/months.
Guess I should have entered the comp, lol.

On a side note, like Jimmy said, Don has been kicking my ass... figuratively of course. His lil' legs probably couldn't actually get his foot up there

I hadn't done any sort of barbell chest excercise in who knows how long until decline last night, and managed to get up 245x7 on my last set. Chest/tri yesterday was killer, and when you combine that with the leg workout from Sunday, just taking a shower this morning was a chore.

And now that it's spring break No workouts are happening but snowboarding, drunken rowdyness, and fornication...not a good substitute. haha

Dunno my weight honestly, but I was fucked all kinds of up over Spring Break. Worked SXSW and spent 16hr days on average at the venue, no time for diet/workout. I'm back on it as of Monday, have yet to get to a scale.

well last week i was sick and this week i have really slacked off big time on the diet..... worked out a little it but i weighed myself at 208 lbs today. which im still glad im at that weight.
