I've been doing pretty much the same routine in the gym for the past 10 years. You know legs one day, back & bi's, chest & tri, shoulders/traps etc. Well at the beginning of the year some of my buds in CA got me hooked on CrossFit.com. Gotta say the results I have seen have been amazing! And the routines are killer, lots of fun cause most workouts are done for time. The comments and people watching in the gym have been awesome.
Anyway for those who are trying to get "fit" and not just big and strong, I would check them out. Here are some of my favs.
They are starting a crossfit program at the Y in downtown Fort Worth where I work out. All the trainers are having to go through it, and it's fun to watch very fit, normally unflappable trainers in so much pain.
I plan to give it a go once I get rid of some of this extra weight. Looks brutal, but in a good way.
