opinions needed.

k. so i know that the BEST times to do cardio is first thing in the morning and after lifting..
but lets say thats not an option...


would i get decent results doing it say right before i lift?

also.. if im doing say 30-45 min of gentle cardio before lifting and had to throw in a day or 3 of 6am 30 min cardio.. woudl that be to much?

Doing cardio before lifting is fine for what you are wanting to do. When you get to the point that you are looking to push up every pound possible, cardio first could potentially hold you back, but for now get the weight off and well put the stregth back on later.

let me explain..
i get off work at 5pm.. at gym by 5:30.
the raven gets off work a 6.. at the gym by 6:30
so i can either sit on my ass till he gets there.. or do my cardio.. since my day starts at 6am.. at 8ish once im done lifting my desire to get on a treadmill is slim to none...

i think its going to take more then 35 min of cardio before lifting to hold the animal back

your still getting your heart rate up so you are still getting the benifits of the cardio...but your body will be a little more fatigued when it comes time to lift, so your gonna feel a little weaker.

I always do cardio first. Just because I know I will not do it after lifting if I wait. I am not concerned about lifting that extra point. As long as I get the job done I really don't car what weight I am lifting. It works fine for me becuase I am not concerned about being 5% body fat or huge. Been there done that, and just not worth it anymore.
