recovery?

Put a little too much stress on an acl last night, no pop or anything just a little tender today. What type of supplements could I pick up at gnc that would aid in recovery for this?

Thanks

They don't sell ice at GNC pansy!

Best thing that you can do is take an anti- inflammatory, and don't use it for a while. Keep drinking lots of water.

Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation

Take some NSAIDs like ibuprofen, Aleve, etc. You only have a window of about a week with NSAIDs after the injury.

If you are looking for supplements for any ligament/tendon injury you can try:

1000mg L-Lysine
1000mg L-glycine
1000mg glucosamine sulfate
1000mg Vitamin C

taken 3 times daily.

Of course, the best advice is to seek medical help.

My 401K is now a 400K (was 301K)

Nick, if you make it to BJ's deal on Friday night, i've got some indocin, which is a really good Anit-Inflamatory, used for gout, soft tissue injuries, and arthritis. Could be worth a shot.
