Dam its hard not drinkng any kind of soda!! I am not on a kill myself diet but I do want to lose some extra pounds I have gained since getting married.... Obviously soda is the first thing to go, I have not had any for like 6 days and man my body feels weird. No more fried foods or sweets or late night snacking either. I am very irritated too!! Anyone else experience this.
I stopped several years ago for sports...then kinda started with maybe 3-4 a week. Then stopped again after realising that they really aren't that good. I think it's just more of a habit. I would much rather have a glass of room temperature water or cold milk.
Ive actually read that drinking cokes alone, you can gain 15-20 lbs a year. Wow, I never knew that. I drink maybe one Diet Dr.Pepper at work here and there, but its mostly the styrofoam 44oz cup full of the water from the water jug in the break room.
If you feel like you just have to have a coke, try Coke Zeros, those and Diet Dr. Peppers are my personal favorites. I dont know if anyone agrees but after you drink diet drinks long enough, a regular soda tastes very sweet to me.
I have switched to Coke Zero. If its really cold, in a can, I can hardly tell the difference. Does the caffeine really make a difference as far as the weight loss goes? Just wondering because so many of y'all said you gave up the caffeine too.
caffeine is a stimulant. depending on your body's dependency to it, caffeine can fuck up your normal brain processes especially in the morning. people drink coffee/tea/cokes int he morning to kick start what should normally happen.
I need to cut out coffee, but by god do I like it!!!

I need to give up DP. I used to like Coke, but gave that up and then started on DP somehow. I've gone a few days without it before, but then I get the cravings bad. Drinking water doesn't always make them go away. Other than that, I drink water, caffeine free (but not sugar free) tea, and OJ.
