how many reps

Just started working out. Want to know how many reps and sets to do in a night I just want to bulk up a little.

I do at least 4 different excersizes for a muscle with reps of 8-10.

If you wanna gain size, lift heavy and do less reps. Your a beginner so keep it light until you get a good form down. High protein & high carb diet, remember you'll only get out of your body what you put into it.

Definitely start out with lighter weight and work on your form. You will benefit from the good form you learn just starting out and if you start out really heavy on the weights you will be soooooo sore for soooo long. Give it a few weeks at light weight with good form then make it heavier.

I'd suggest starting out with like 4 sets of 8 - 10 reps with some weight that you can easily do a set of 10 with at first.

Consentrate on compound exercises that work multiple body parts at once like bench press, squats, dead lifts, pullups, chinups, etc. Until you you get a little time in and get used to that. Then you could branch out as you learn more about it.
