That's what I'm thinking...maybe a protein shake prior to workouts and/or a recovery drink after.
She really doesn't need to do much, if anything, just seems to think she does. I can't get it through her head for whatever reason! At most, add a little muscle...but that would add weight and drive her nuts. Damn women! lol
She wants a better stomach. I told her the only way she will get much more definition is if she does some weight training to build the muscles. All she does at the gym is cardio (elliptical, treadmill, some bike, and some stairs). I think if she did a lot more crunches, leg lifts, bicycle kicks, and situps, she'd build her abdominals and her stomach would look more definited because there would be larger muscles to show. Right now, it looks fine for me...but she's unhappy with it. Again, this would likely increase weight due to added muscle. I guess she'll just have to get over the numbers and go by the mirror.
Same goes for the arms...a little weight training and she should be golden, but not too much or she'll add bulk (which she doesn't want). She should get some high rep/low resistance from the elliptical machine.
Her legs should get their definition from the cardio she does also...but a little weight training via squats and lunges would be the most beneficial for her backside, right?
What's the best way to convince a woman that she isn't fat? lol...lost cause!
