Girls Working Out

Ok, so I have been slacking here lately. Those of you who work out, what are some simple exercises that I can do at home if I am unable to make it to the gym. Also, since I haven't been in the gym much lately and am starting to go again, what are some good workouts for me to do. Just to burn a little fat and just stay in shape? Being on Birth Control doesn't help me since I have gained some weight since being on it. Really sucks and I am not used to ANY weight gain. I have pretty much stayed the same weight till I got back on the shot.

TIA

I'm guessing that you want to work on your legs and as right?,

Squats w/ a excersize ball or against the wall
Lunges
Standing calf raises
Jumping jacks

also
push ups
sit ups
crunches
leg lifts

You can always take up running,

Joe.

Thank you.

When I have worked out in the past, I would run for 30 minutes so other than that, I was looking for other things to do. That helps a lot.

What about protein drinks for shakes? Is there anything you can take that will give you more energy or to help with your workout?

Hmmmmm
First...you're too tired to make it in to tan,
now you're too tired to make it to the gym.
Next, it's gonna be...Honey, I'm too tired to cook!

Hmmmm...what do I foresee in your future?

Justin...
Now did I ever say I was too tired to go to the gym? Nope.. I'm asking about exercises for when I "GO" to the gym.

I am no where near lazy when it comes to things around the house... nor when it comes to my body. So thanks for the input...

<--- going to tan tonight.

Honestly, you just need to go and watch others.
Everyone has their own "perfect workout routine".
I learned along time ago, to quit listening to people and learn from trial and error.

Dieting and Intensity is 95% of the battle against weight loss and growing too...
just depends what your personal goals are,
and how bad you really want to achieve them.

Eat better, do more cardio (running, elliptical, bike, stairs).

For legs and ass; lunges, squats, and leg presses would be best. Ham and quad curls work too along with calf raises. For abs, stick to something simple like crunches and along with the diet and cardio, you'll see results.

i know this sounds obvious, but my when my ex needed to loose some weight what helped her the most is sleep. it helps increase you intensity while you're in the gym, it helps you eat less calories (unless you sleep eat), and it helps your body build muscle.

just my 2 cents, everything else mentioned sounds good as well

For the type of body that most women are looking for, I'd suggest cleaning up your diet, and find a set or two of cardio programs that you can follow. At home you can to lunges, body squats, glute squeezes, knee push ups. Get you a couple dumbells and you can add upright flyes for the shoulder, reverse flyes for your back, and curls/tricep extensions for your arms.
