water?

I was talking to a few guys at the gym that drink alot of water... and they were sayin disstilled(SP) water is better then any other water for weight loss... can you guys please explain...

tap water contains sodium and depending on your local water treatment plant sometimes more or less than others. usually not enough to make a difference since people with kidney disease and congestive heart failure still drink from the tap but can play a factor when a fighter is trying to cut weight real fast or a body builder is trying to lose all the water in the subcutaneous tissues ( look more cut and shredded) prior to a contest.
