Liquid diet...

my mom is having a surgery in a week and they said she needs to be on a liquid diet until then... today was her first day and it was rough for her... any ideas on what she could try, and what might work best for such a diet...

Go get her a juicer . Man that has got to suck to only be able to take in liquids. Hope your mom' surgery goes of without a hitch.

What you might call solitude is something i look forward to.

Muscle milk would be good for variety, but I wouldnt' have her drink more than one, maybe two a day. It's very low carb and full of fat. Granted, it's the "good" fat, but if she's sedentary she doesn't need a whole lot of it. Something like ensure or a regular protein shake with fruit mixed in would be a better option for a primary source of calories.
