F'ing hate cardio days

Procrastinating as much as possible before hitting the elliptical. Maybe I'll just get on an excercise bike today and do the elliptical on Thursday. Either way I hate it.

Grappling > Elliptical

Running, machines all of that stuff is boring. Grappling you get a cardio workout you can't believe plus stimulate muscles you don't use on a normal basis.

You're right. I should call your mom a little later. Running is good but I fucked up one of my knees a few years back and it can start to hurt pretty bad after a mile or so.

JK, please don't kill me.

Hear that. The first 5 minutes of any run or bike are tough for me while I get my heart rate into the zone. Once it is in the zone, I zone, and I go on autopilot.

Despite internet persona, I'm quite easy going. I can handle it.

I'm having trouble getting in the routine of running. It doesn't take long for me to get bored. I need to find my IPoD, maybe that will help.

I hate running/ellipticals/treadmills/etc. I can stand pedaling stuff. I'm a bigger fan of having a couple more bf% and having a weaker cardiovascular system.

Running blows. Not enjoyable to me at all. Mostly because I suck at running and I'm really slow/asthma kicks my ass when I run.

I bike a lot now. It's far more enjoyable and relaxing. When I run, I feel like I'm being punished (oh the days of baseball), but when I bike i'm just exercising. Not that I exercise.

I usually only run on Saturdays and Sundays 1.5-2 miles a day. Tuesdays it's the elliptical for 45 minutes and Thursdays is an excercise bike for 45 minutes. I usually burn about 500 calories (according to the machine) on those days.

Ah.... San Marcos...

How's the river these days? When I lived in San Marcos (early 80s) I'd run all around town and always end up laying down by the river when I was done.

Nothing like catching major wood in your running shorts.

River's high and fast. Plenty of rain and maybe we'll catch some of that storm that's working it's way through DFW. Sunglasses are a must in San Marcos. It's the only way to keep the girls from knowing what you're looking at.

precursor: I have gained 15 pounds in the past 1 year and 3 months. I was at 150 then, dieted down to 140, let up and now can readily peg 155-158 on a scale. so...

I am starting to ride my bike again. I ride a BMX bike, so it's 35 pounds, 20" wheels and a 43/14 single gearing... basically, riding 4 miles on this thing will kick my ass as bad as 15-20 on a road bike.

time to fire up the George Foreman grill!

Question

Do extended sessions of high-intensity shitting and masturbating count as cardio?

Grappling is no joke, the first day after i felt like i had the flu. didn't know i had so many muscles in my back. oh yeah, i had a painful left bicep for a few days from defending an arm bar. I thought i was in good shape lifting weights until i tried grappling and kickboxing.
