I think it has a lot to do with how much gut you started out with when you began losing weight. I'm 5'10" and started out last August at 215, had a 38 waist and a disgusting gut. Now I'm down to 165, a 32 waist, and my body is starting to define itself, but I still have a belly. My upper abs are starting to show and my love handles are almost gone. What's left sits above my belt line up to my middle abs. Several people have told me that area is the last to come off and it would take a long time to get rid of it. It didn't get that way overnight and it won't go away overnight either. You need to stick with a low fat diet and get at least thirty minutes of cardio in 4-5 times a week. Try and do your cardio first thing in the morning, but it's been said before, afternoon or evening cardio is better than none. Stay focused, it will come off eventually.
