I did one cycle when I was 19 or so. Anivar, Winstrol, Deca and Test followed up with hcg post cycle.
Was alot more economical back in 1982... 6 week cycle + post cycle cost about $100. You could go into Eckerds and buy your needles for .20 a needle.
Hell, it worked, I gained about 30 lbs in those 6 weeks and added well over 100 lbs to my squat.
But I think the greatest effect I got from taking the juice was recovery. I could squat almost everyday and be fully recovered for the next day. I'm talking 10-15 sets of squats here getting upwards to 500lbs.
Now that I'm getting older and I'm done having kids I'm considering using them again under Doctor's care to keep my muscle not to build the muscle.
But, I really don't see the draw for someone who is "average" and not doing it because they are at the high-levels of bodybuilding or athletics. Risk vs. reward just isn't there.
It's like when I'm at a triathlon and I see one of my age group competitors pulling up to the transition area with a $8,000 Quintana Roo Tri bike. Sorry, it ain't gonna help you. An $8K tri bike may help a pro who needs to shave 30 seconds off his bike time (and a boost in finish prize money) but it isn't going to do jack shit for a middle of the pack age grouper. They don't have the training to take advantage of it.
