Recovery sucks

well. this was the 3rd week back after 3 months off from fucking up my shoulder again.. Back to ground zero.. recouping.. it is very frustrating but i have become determined to stay focused and not lift heavy.. Stuck with 315 on the bench.. on incline had to go from 105s to 140s.. because some ass jockey broke the 150s and 125s by dropping them ( he tried to lift them and they where to heavy for him)..
its very frustrating. but i hope i can keep the cardio and light weights up and get my body weight down.

Later tonight my wife is going to take my measurements and im going to track progress with my diet and cardio.

for your body weight. thats damn good. my new goal, which will take a while, is 405x12 @sub 230 body weight. im dont with moving big weights.. all it does is lead to shoulder issues.every single person i know who reps more then 405 has either shoulder, or elbow issues. and if they dont have them now, they will get them.

The advantage you guys have is, even though 315 is Heavy for your weight..505 on the joints is 505 on the joints no matter how much mass you have pushing it.

bTW. please to take my post as my trying to show anyone up.. or reduce the level of work and effort it took to get to 315.. my lifts are nothing spectacular.. there are lots of ppl who can make me look like a shrimp.

I hear you there. I quit decline all together for that reason. If you remember i use to always post my decline results. I havent done it at all in the past few months tell my partners wanted to do decline last night. I hurt my shoulder on my 3rd rep with 365lbs. Decline has always hurt my shoulders. No more of that for me.
I've been hitting the icy-hot and ibpro. and luckly feel better already.

well back went okay. seems my shoulder is more prone to annoyance from push movements ( bench, shoulderpress) then pull.. I didnt go heavy. but my shoulder held 6 plates on the hammer row.. and 290lbs wide and narrow grip pull downs....Definatly need to get my strength back up.. 6 plates felt moderatly heavy.. could only pull 6-8 reps.

Good god david man the weight you rep is insane. I've decided I never want to be that big. I'm already getting huge with what I do and I just don't want to look like a freak. I'm mostly doing killer cardio and seriously killing every individual muscle group one at a time with light resistance many reps no resting.

I try and keep my heart rate in the 160's-170's. We should seriously workout sometime. I know we've been saying that for years but, gawd damn it would be good to have a partner sometimes.

Btw weightloss todate for me is 188lbs. I think last time we talked I was in the 270's and this morning I was 257. At 6'1 with my muscle mass the way it is im starting to look like I live in the fucking gym(which I kinda don't like). I had Full body analysis LBM is 190lbs and said at 10% body fat I will weigh 223lbs. So atleast im getting close.

arm's and chest is 60' out the door and my waist is currently at 40'.

Here's to being 60' up top and 34 down low....muahahaha

Hit me up sometime next week bro we need to catch up.

why do you think im trying to lose weight? im 5'7" with over 200lbs LBM. My final goal is 8-12% at under 250... realistically i would sacrifice some size to get back to 225.


yesterday was a SUCK ASS day.. first leg workout since my tripp off an 8' ladder.. my kneed is going to nee some work..

60lbs one leg leg extentions FTL
oh well. you have to start somewhere

Yeah I feel ya. I'm not so concerned with the weight anymore. I've learned you can be 240lbs and be a fatass or you can 240lbs and be cut up. Im mostly concerned about body fat % and waist line. I think 220ish will get me where I want to be but, we will see.

I do about 35 miles a week on average and on crunch weeks I keep a 160AHR for 2-3hrs a day. lol. Its whats helped me have such crazy results in such a short amount of time.
