A protein shake with about a cup of quick oats mixed in, and a cup of strong coffee.

That's about what I do, but I feel sluggish for the first part of my workout.

Oatmeal is low on the glycemic index, add a piece of fruit or half a bagel to build some glycogen a little quicker.

Half a protein bar, a banana, and water. Finish the bar after the workout along with a shake w/ oatmeal.

yogurt, granola bar, start drinking on the creatine/gatorade i've made for the workout. My most important fuel is putting on some really heavy or really fast music in the car on the way to the gym
