What do you eat?

Trying to get some ideas for things to eat that are
A. Healthy
B. have enough protein per meal
Iv been eating canned tuna, salmon, sardines. Puttin them on some wheat wraps, rice cakes with peanut butter and honey(plus a small protein shake for the difference I need in protein). Wanting to figur out some easy/quick things tomake while at work.

The IT dept just called. They said you might want to take a look at making all of your meals at home from now on.

For B-fast, I'll alternate between the following....

Oatmeal, sometimes with blue berries
slice of wheat toast, sometimes with peanut butter

or

3 eggs over-medium cooked with olive oil w/ cheese sprinkled over them
1-2 slices of wheat toast

Sometimes I'll ruin it all by getting a muffin with the oatmeal or jelly spread with my toast and eggs

breakfast should be your biggest (highest caloric intake) meal, then they should start getting smaller from there...look at my post "flame suit all zipped up" to see what imo in a great meal plan.

I agree that breakfast should be a decent-sized meal, but not necessarily the biggest. I eat 6 or 7 small meals throughout the day, and the higher calorie meal of them all is at about 9:30pm when I get home from the gym.

Screw that 6-7 meals a day BS. I stick to 4ish. Eat lots of beef jerky as a snack. Very small breakfasts, and huge lunches. I stay in pretty good shape and have never had a problem with gaining too much weight or not having enough energy.

Good foods are liek you said fishes. I also like chicken, and turkey. Liver is very high in protein as well. +

You are young with a decent metabolosm, things will change. You can get buy with 4 meals, but since you say that you're snacking in between, that's the same thing as my 6-7 smaller meals.

Oh shit...then if you count snacks...I'm in probably consuming 7-8 meals a day. I usually only count it as a meal if its multiple items. I'm also very picky about what I eat, and have been that way ever since I had to diet for highschool powerlifting, so it's a very disciplined diet. And I know age is on my side...not looking forward to loosing that aid either. lol

Quick and easy stuff that I use...

oatmeal + protein shake - Plane old oatmeal with nothing else in there for your carbs, and mix up a whey protein shake to get your protein. Ready in about 2 minutes, finished eating in about 5 minutes.

If I have a little more time I'll take a half bag of that microwave brown rice, mix in one can of tuna and about half a can of cream of mushroom soup. Eat this warm. It tastes great. Plenty of protein in the Tuna and carbs in the rice.
