Exclamation muscle milk,,, protien shake

I am not sure if it is best to take the shake before or after my work out. I have been taking it before, because it gives me energy and makes me feel good. I have been able to go further, plus I want to eat dinner, and I cant before a work out, so I take a shake an hour before my work out and then 1 hour after I have some lean meat , or mostly chicken or fish, with vegetables and rice sometimes. I need to loose some flab around my abs. And I want to build lean muscle to look awsome this summer. Not sure if you need more info to get a good answer... so let me know... ne help would be awsome.. thanx

I try not to eat an hour before I work out personally, and if I do, it's a small snack like f/f yogurt or an apple. I'd suggest drinking your muscle milk post workout, to help repair the muslces that you just broke down.

thanx....ne suppliments I can take to get me pumped up before my work out like the protein shake does...with out making me cracked out... LOL.. I need to get as far as possible before summer time...and I got along ways to go... all the input I can get would rock...thanx

i heard about that.. I just seen it in a magazine. So I should take that before the work out and then take muscle milk after the work out? I need to burn belly fat and love handles...ne tricks to that? I got till, hopefully june, but no later than july... and I wanna get as far along as possible... what is the deal on NO xplode? Will it kill my heart? LOL...

Im taking Animal Pump now before workouts.

First day(yesterday) it made my stomach sick and i hurled a couple times.

Tried it again today and i was pumped like never before in the gym.

Ive taken No-xplode and ive also taken animal pak they were both great but i have gotten the most gains from no-xplode its good stuff

i drink a couple of muscle milk shakes a day, i use them as meal replacements while i am out on the road driving...

You can't spot reduce. Just keep your diet clean, get regular cardio, and the weight will slowly come off.

You've taken animal-pak or animal pump?

I bought some pak once but i couldnt take them horse pills.

sounds like no-xplode is tha shit...so im gonna get some...so i should take that before? And should I still take the shake afterwords? I like the muscle milk.. its good and it made me feel good. But I just wanna make sure that its good to take both. I dont wanna gain anything but muscle... i dont wanna gain anymore fat.. LOL.. ....So there is no way to focus on getting rid of the belly fat? thanx for the input.

Animal pump has 9 pills. 6 are capsils and the other 3 arent any bigger. They're easy to take.

How much for the Pump cycle?, and how many are in the can?.

Im on Blueberry. It's alright. I've had the peach mango and rocky road too. There ok, but Banana Cream has been the best for me.

No xplode is ok but it defeats the purpose because it contains caffein and caffein closes your bloode vessels restricting flow to your muscles during a work out ..the pump that you feel from that is just the N.O ..if anything take streight N.O and no caffeine for some serious muscle pumps ..just my 2 cents

yeah if your looking to gain just muscle then you need to DROP the muscle milk if you look at the ingridients on that it has waay to much fat and sugar ...you need LEAN protein to gain nothing but LEAN muscle ..

What the fuck is "lean" protein? I've heard of lean meat... never heard of lean protein.

As far as Muscle Milk the fat content comes mainly from MCT fats (medium chain triglycerides) which have a very unique chemical structure. The structure makes it easier to digest for humans.

Most fats are broken down and remade to be transported to the blood stream. MCTs are taken directly to the liver intact for energy use.

It has been rumored (I haven't seen the study) that MCTs help promote ketosis. Ketosis is a state where the body burns fat as energy (the key to the Aktins diet.)

Point being, not all fat is the same. And by reducing your fats to nil will have no effect on your body composition.

Calories ingested > Calories Expended = Weight Gain
Calories ingested < Calories Expended = Weight Loss

No other way around it.

dont eat an hour before work out take some no-explode and some whey protien (with reduced fat milk) before work out after work out take muscle milk or some other casien protien (with reduced fat milk) along with some creatine! dont eat two hours before bed time and take amino acid pills before you go to bed! sleep with your bed room cold or chilly and when you wake up in the mornings run and stretch for about 30-45 min and do it BEFORE you eat breakfast! do that and in a couple of weeks you shed lots of fat while packing on muscle i promise!!!!!!
