Wieght loss and toning

My wife is looking to start toning and losing a little weight. I have seen a couple of diet plans that interest me and her. I am leaning towards us starting a 6 meals a day. Also i am on a protein shake diet and work out 4 days a week. I would like to know what kind of diet plans would fit both of us. Most likely a high protien diet, and a cardio workout for her.

Personally, I lost a ton of weight just watching what I was eating and running each day. I don't really lift weights. I started by eating 1200 calories a day, mostly protein. I slowly dropped it to 1000 calories per day. I now am back to the 1200 calories. I lost a little muscle but I don't care. I have a man to take care of my lifting requirements. My normal workout takes about 30 minutes.

As for him. He eats the same foods I do, but he adds bread/carb products and more of what I eat. He has about 2500 calories per day. He works out on the elliptacle, treadmill, and free weights (rotating muscle groups). His workout is about 45 min.

I absolutely adore working out with my husband.

HAVE FUN!!!

i always feel like a fat ass when i think about calories. My average is probably around 4000-5000. Average meal is probably like 1500-2000

Also if you add a small amount of wiegt resistance it will help

If you aren't a body builder or endurance runner, then you probably ARE a fatass. Or you're one of those lucky bastards with a hyperactive metabolism.

Dont get mad. We have to eat extra just to put a couple pounds on the bones.
