well, over the past month or so I have lost 14 lbs and muscle milk has been the main protein I drink. I had that bit of Gladiator no fat no carb stuff left over and I used that up as after workout drink mixed with gatoraid to get rid of that, then it has been jsut the muscle milk.
I drink a shake mid morning and mid afternoon, I also have one at breakfast every morning with a small bowl of oatmeal, sometimes the same thing for lunch and even dinner. I have been very strict except for a few days on the diet like that. Grilled fish, tuna and rice, or oatmeal almost exclusively along with the muscle milk drinks. I dont think that the muscle milk fat is hurting my progress based on the last month.
Also, I have been lifting 2 days a week and the cardio only averages about 1 - 2 days a week. not a very hard workout schedule at all. I need to actually step it up more. I had planned a 3 day a week lifting adn 3 day a week cardio schedule, but so far I have not managed to rearrange everything else to fit it in that way.
Probably a batd thing I do is that if I do eat bad say for lunch, I will skip my afternoon protein snack. I think this is bad because I am going too ling between meals that way, even though I am dropping my total intake of calories that day. So my muscle gains are not going to be the best this way.
Now, on to measurements - I have not lost any at all in my waist measurement, however my chest measurement is down 1". Arms are slightly bigger. but I can notice the fat loss overall, so I am gaining muscle, but still loosing fat qiockly enough to see a large change in weight at the scale. I figured there would be an evening out with gaining muscle, but not so far.
