Lots of brands. Yes GNC will have some.

Muscle Milk has one along with many others.

In the past I have found it cheaper to buy them both in powder form, and mix them on my own. Your gonna have to mix up the protein anyway, what's an extra scoop?

I just bought a Creatine pill that suppose to be pretty good. I've only been talking it for 5 days now.

It's called Kre-Alkalyn 1500
Suppose to absorb better than the powder stuff and 1gram is suppose to equal 10grams of powder.

I buy from a little hole in the wall in Garland. But i live in Mckinney now and there is good place off Elderado. You can get things cheap online too. www.bodybuilding.com has good prices.

The purple pills right? I picked some up over the weekend to see if I could get my bench up a little more before dieting season hits. We'll see if it's hype or not.

BTW, I buy my supps at Fitness Essentials in Plano.

I personally don't think it'll be noticably more effectine than plain creatine powder, it just assimilates better so you don't need to take as much. You body can only absorb so much anyway.

When i used to buy stuff i went through bodybuilding.com, I think half of that shit is BS. A good diet will get you just as far if not further.

I've never worried about diet. I think a good workout will get you further.

I agree, but I was looking at it from whether or not it works period, rather than being more effective. If it works just the same, I would prefer taking a pill over the powder. One less thing to mix. Have you used your pills yet?

Started monday, but it's not the first time I've taken Creatine. It does increase strength and size/weight (mostly water retention), but it's no miracle supplement. I use it more for a motivational tool to break through plateaus. The increased strength/stamina gets me energized to hit the weights even harder, and it's that increased intensity that's the biggest benefit for me. Once I cycle off my weight drops as does most of the added strength, but there is always a little lean mass and strength that I keep and attribute to the addd intensity while on creatine. Make no mistake, it's not an anabolic substance, don't expect miracles.

You need to throw some halodrol-50 in your mix.

I think my wording led you astray.
I've been on the powder for a few months now. I was just wondering if the pills worked as well. I'd rather pop the pill than drink the mixed powder.

As long as you aren't concerned with scale weight, you can use creatine to maintain strength when cutting calories and it helps with stamina when doing cardio. It'll make you flat, but once the weright is gone you can cycles off and "squeeze" the water back out of your muscles.
