What forearm exercises work the best for you?

I don't really spend much time on my forearms, so I need to start hitting them hard in the gym. The only forearm exercise I do now is EZ-bar reverse curls. Anyone have any other ones that work really well? Should I bust out the ole broomstick and rope and make a roller?

The broom stick with a rope and 15lbs worked awesome for me back in the day when I played hockey.

careful on how much you workout the forarms and wrists, if you do it A LOT, you'll have a higher probability of giving yourself carpal tunnel syndrome (painful stuff!)

Wrist Curls, Reverse Wrist Curls, Reverse forearms Curls, and Hammer Curls. That will get you jacked PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is a back/lower back. Has nothing to do with arms.

I wrap a towel around each grip on the barbell. Easiest way for me to hit the forearms since my routine doesn't include any training for them for the next 8 weeks.

Haha, I was thinking the same thing. Moron. Yes, heavy deadlifts and shrugs with heavy weight until you are about to drop it on your feet, then a couple more reps. THAT will get your forearms jacked!

All the time. On back day I leave them on because this is a back exercise but I am sure you know it all.

Deadlifts will do it. But you have to have a lower body that can pull more weight than what your forearms can hold for a long time.

i agree with Al and Raven.. i dont normaly " train forearms".if you can hold on to heavy weights they should grow.. but then i have small forearms.. maybe i need to work them more.

I don't normally work forearms either since I figure they kind of work themselves while I'm doing other exercises, but I think a key to growth in the arms stems from forearm growth. So I figured it wouldn't hurt to devote a few sets to them.

On another note, I went to the batting cages this weekend and I'll be damned, when I woke up the next morning my forearms were sore as hell along with my back.
