Eat as many whole foods as possible, and cut out refined sugar, alcohol, and all saturated fats. Get your carbs from low-glycemic sources like oatmeal. yams, and rice. Bread, pasta, and potatoes are okay, but keep those fairly limited unless oyu are burning the calories to need them.
