Part of the problem is that you're a Marine and I bet you're running about 3 x's a week. While running is great for you, it can tend to kill your size gains in the gym. I've heard that it's best to do cardio after lifting or at least 6-8 hours before your morning run. So if your pt is mon/wed/fri @0600 or so, try lifting at night after you've had a full day's recovery from the run. Also, if you're doing 10 reps/set, you're probably not lifting enough weight. I would shoot for 8 reps/set. Hope that helps
