Is it me, or could that guy not really move his arms, cause he had too much muscle/mass?

Insane, but that guy looks like a meatball. I'd rather be about 200-220 lbs. and lifting ~400 lbs. on bench. I don't know if I'll ever have time in college to train like I'm wanting, but oh well.

Those guys are using two and three ply denim bench shirts and shit. Hell this guy has a freakin shirt that is so tight over his triceps that he can't even lift his arms up. You can tell by the video because he lowers the weight to a point that is far below his sternum because he can't lift his arms up. I'd like to see what he can do without all that bullshit. I'm not saying he's a weakling by any means but who cares about a contest to see how much a shirt can bench? Shit like that just makes powerlifting look like a circus or like professional wrestling. Just dumb.

I would like to see how much he can do without a shirt also. The open back style he has isn't even legal in most federations. He has posted his workouts and the most he does raw is 475lb, then shirts up to finish out his sets. I still think Scot Mendelson is the bench king, he has benched 750 raw, which I don't think no one has been able to beat.

I have a lot of gym goals.. being under 1000lbs ISNT one of them.. heard that scott mendelson got under 1000 once and said he could FEEL the bone in his forearm bowing... thats nuts!! i will stick to my girlie weights and leave the big weights to the guys in shirts.

Your "girlie" weights are heavier than most of us dream of lifting!

yea he only moved maybe a total of 4 inches 2 down and 2 up plus he was using a lift shirt which helps alot on your bench.
