Started working out again.

I've decided that instead of getting off at 2-3pm, coming home and taking a nap, I would work out instead. Today was the first. I'm sore as hell. What motivates all you muscle men to keep working out.

And while you're at it, post up your bench max and your weight.

Mine was 255lbs when I was 17 weighing about 175.

you answered your own question on motivation...
The pain.. thats what motivates me.. i love it.. the more the merrier.. Nothing like waking up 2 days after a hard work out and feeling so sore that it feels like a train rolled over you..
not goint to post my max.. since i dont max out any more.. just stick to reps...

Lets see how long you keep this up. Your motivation should be all the hot chicks you will get when you're all buffed up. Girls love buff guys.

Oh yeah, my max is probably like 80 lbs, weighing in at about 120.

man i hate being sore. it feel good once you get all streched back out tho. but that first thing in the morning sucks. i need to goto a gym but i have no motavation.

What you might call solitude is something i look forward to.

Many motivators. To get in better shape, to improve your body, to pass the time, etc.
As weird as it may sound, another reason I work out is to be the antithesis of what most people are becoming today... fat and lazy. I look around and think, "damn how in the hell do people let themselves get like that." That right there makes me want to lift more than anything.

Oh, about "The Pain"... I love it. It's hard to describe it to people sometimes. You hear them say things like, "Damn, I'm sore... this sucks." and you think to yourself, "Damn, I'm sore... heh heh, hell yeah."

i also started working out yesterday morning. the hardest thing for me at first was getting up at 430 am to start working out by 5am. the second thing is cardio motivation. i have a bad knee and am somewhat limited so i have very little motivation to do cardio and i really need to so i can get rid of this beer gut. any help?? i dont mind lifting weights like other people say, the woman love a good looking man, and i dont want to lose the good looking woman to one of them!! lol. so my recomendation is fight through the pain it will get better after first week. the pain will soon be like waking up every morning, just natural.

I doubt I'll start working days since school is going to start back up in a few months. I won't make any money working lunches anyway. We can start running at night though when I get off and it is cool outside.
