how much can u guys curl?

just wondering what u guys work out with on curls. i put up 125 yesterday on stand up preacher seat but only did it 4 times. what can u guys do?

I was doing standing preacher bar bells and doing 65 per arm, but have since changed to a drops set, and dramaticly reduced my weight, There is no point in throwing around a huge bar bell.

I have had beter gains in the last two months doing more sets of less weight.

Preacher I can do about 75-80 lbs. i've never been big on the biceps (well they don't like getting bigger anyways )

I curl a 60 ibs bar in my last set for 10 reps. I tried 70, But my wrists don't like the straight Bar that Bally's has with that weight. The 60 ibs one is a easy bar which works great. I haven't tried the 80 ib bar yet. Maybe next weeek I'll throw it up and see how many reps I can go.

I usually start off with heavy barbell curls and get up to aabout 100 to 110 lbs. After that I usually can't do shit. I curl the 35 lb. dumbbells as my last exercise!

I can usually do 12oz curls without a problem and even sometimes will hit some tall boy 16oz'ers if I'm feeling up to it.


j/k..... I usually do preacher curls with a 70 or 80lb barbell and then grab some 30 - 40lb dumbells to finish off with.

i can get up to the last set (out of about 4 or 5) and do 60lb. dumbells. i guess i have always liked working the biceps though anyway..

Not nearly enough. My arms are probably the weakest part of my body proportionally. I know that they are the smallest. I use 130 when I curl the flat bar on the cables with sets of 8.

i do 21s and preacher curls wit 65 pounds on the easy bar.wen i do the preacher curls i can do 15 reps or more and 2 or 3 sets but im 16

I dont think i've ever maxed out on curls, but if I had a guess, Id say about 135-145 standing with a straight bar. And by curl i mean back straight, elbows immobile, all bicep. None of that swinging, or bringing the elbow back shit that you see most people doing.

I do sets with 70 - 80 lbs. on the ez bar standing. Attempting to keep back straight throughout and not throw the weight around.
