Split the multi in half for the mornign and take the other mid-day.

How big and in what method are the flax seed oil and milk thistle in? capsule? liquid?

Did you take it with food?

Yeah, that's why I asked. Also, flax seed oil really should be taken with food as well.

I don't know much about milk thistle so I can't say how it should be taken.

And so it's said, you should always check with your doctor before taking suppliments.

Why are you taking milk thistle? Is there something else you are taking that you did not mention above? Got liver problems? Drink a lot? Unless you are popping some major pillage or injects...milk thislte is just extra money.

Anywho..how many milligrams is your milk thistle? What amount is silymarin/Silybum marianum (how many milligrams)? Ive known lifters to divide it into two doses. One pill each time.

And no I dont take MT....for those of you wondering... Milk thistle is said to lower the effectiveness fo some birth control pills. Got that ladies? Its either your liver or a baby....

I know flax seed oil can do that. I had to start with small doses and work my way up. Couldn't do it on an empty stomach at first, but was able to after a couple of weeks.

Maybe you should do a little more research. There are several benefits to taking flax seed oil.

Flax seed oil is considered by many to be the answer to this health dilemma. Oil extracted from flax seed is unique because it contains both essential fatty acids: alpha-linolenic, an omega-3 fatty acid, and linoleic acid, an omega-6 fatty acid, in appreciable amounts. Flax seed oil is the world's richest source of omega-3 fatty acids at a whopping 57% (over two times the amount of omega-3 fatty acids as fish oils). Omega-3 fatty acids have been extensively studied for their beneficial effects toward:

o Arthritis
o Cancer
o High cholesterol levels
o Heart pain - Angina
o High blood pressure
o Multiple sclerosis
o Psoriasis & Eczema
o Stroke & heart attack

The high content of omega-3 fatty acids in flax seed oil is but one of its positive attributes. The essential fatty acids combined here have proven to impart a regulatory function on the body's fatty acid metabolism. Fat metabolism is as important, if not more critical, than our body's metabolism of proteins and carbohydrates as evidenced by the drastic rise in fat related degenerative diseases, such as vascular disease and strokes. Dietary essential fatty acids common to flax seed oil are ultimately converted to hormone-like substances known as prostaglandins, and are important for the regulation of a host of bodily functions including:

o inflammation, pain, and swelling
o pressure in the eye, joints or blood vessels
o secretions from mucus membranes and their viscosity
o smooth muscle & autonomic reflexes, gastrointestinal, arterial, ear, heart
o water retention
o blood clotting ability
o allergic response
o rheumatoid arthritis
o nerve transmission
o steroid production & hormone synthesis

This is no lie!! I take a one a day for men and it makes me sick for a couple hours every morning. Even if I do eat before. I may need to break it in half.

I realize this, I knew that already, but why is someone that is 20 years old gonna take flax sead oil, most who take it are older, have joint problems, high blood preasure, and failing health.

Beej I have three coworkers that take flax seed. They have cholesterol problems and are on a weight loss program. Another takes fish oil pills. None of them are over 30 years old.

I would take milk thistle if I were you. I wouldn't want to f*ck up my liver.

Are you going to be taking and 6-oxo/Nolva for when you come off your cycle?
