Count your calories. Depending on your current lean mass you will need to be ingesting around 1500 to 1800 calories a day. If you add cardio into the mix, up your calories slightly on those days to minimize muscle atrophy. Eat lean sources of protein like fish, turkey, and chicken and stay away from breads, refined sugars, and alcohol. Getting lean enough to have abs has very little to do with exercise and everything to do with diet.
