Some good Salmon at Albertson's

You can go in there and for about $4 get a 1 lb. Salmon Steak that already has some seasoning on it. It comes with a little butter too. Throw the thing in the oven for 25 minutes, put a little of the garlic butter on top and fucking have at it.

I wonder how many grams of protein in 1 lb. of this stuff?

Pink Salmon is 20g in a 100g serving. 1lb is 454g, so therefore 90.8g of protein.

Al, I stumbled onto a good deal on fresh Salmon filets at Tom Thumb's a few weeks ago. They show the price @ 7.99/lb. but if you buy more than two pounds of it, they give you a "Value Pak" price per lb. I bought 2.92 lbs. (one large filet) for 4.49/lb or $13.11 total. I took it home, cut it into (4) nice pieces and threw it in the freezer. I cook mine w/ some lemon pepper seasoning on top and throw it in the oven on broil. Really easy to make and great source of protein!!
