Protein Powders

Simple topic...What protein powder do you use and why?

I use Optimum Nutrition Choco. I like it alot...for a protein powder. I can get it at good price. It comes in 10 lb sizes and Ive have great results.

Ive also used Nectar Berry in the past. Tastes like a Pixie stick. It was a nice change from the regular chocolate.

I'd be interested in hearing everyones opinion and uses.

My opinion... Optimum's chocolate tastes like shit.
It tasted like burnt coffee beans or something.
I gave a 5lb thing of it to a friend for $15 just to get rid of it.

Gentec Nutriceutals - Chocolate. Seriously... it's good as hell. Even mixing it with just water, i enjoy it.

I got Optimum vanilla once, and didnt really care for it, so one day i added some powdered hot chocolate mix to it (2scoops optimum, 1packet HC mix), and mixed in water it was very good. If I didnt care about the extra sugar and everything else in the hot chocolate mix I would probably drink those all the time.

So anyway, my vote is for Gentec.

Currently, and for the past few months, ISS ProM3 (chocolate) and/or ISS ProMX40 (chocolate and also Cookies N'Cream). Tastes good, and I'm getting good, solid results. The ProM3 is lower in carbs, but not Zero carbs, and even the MX40 is pretty low, too.

Isopure is great(strawberry) IMO. Not only does it contain 50g/protein but has 0 carbs, throw in 2 scoops with some water and ice cubes in the blender and your set.
