5'10" 219#
I'm just built big i guess, but there is definately weight to lose. I'm workin on it.

I got serious about my lifting in may '03, worked hard until about october '03, then school started gettin me down and really cut into my gym time.
I've been back into it hard since january though.

Bench - Last September I put up 275 x1. Haven't maxed since.
Deadlift - Never maxed. Repped 300 x5 three weeks ago, then my grip went to shit
Sqaut - never maxed. 270 x 4

It may not be much compared to some of you guys... give it some time though I thoroughly enjoy busting my ass in the gym, so hopefully I will keep makig good gains.

Been going to the gym as much as I can. Between being in college full time and working about 30 hours a week I get in there about 3 days a week for 1-2 hours for each of those days now.

Bench is around 275-285 lbs. max, haven't maxed in about 1 1/2 months

Squat is somewhere around 375 lbs., but my lower back doesn't like it and since I started on my job about a month ago I can't really work out legs because all that I do is push carts around all day (costco, they send me out to do carts for most of the time, at least I can count it as my cardio).

Don't really do any of the other core lifts for max, most of it is routine, but I use dumbbells instead of the bar on bench, incline, decline, military press, unless I am maxing.

Not exactly great and I'd like to get a little bigger, the job is cutting me up at least

I know that there are some serious power pushers on here (415x8). I don't do too bad, but I am not one of them.

Bench Max - 350lbs
Squat - ? I lifted 315 easily a couple of weeks ago. It was the first time that I had lifted legs in 10 years. I think that with some practice I can hit 400lbs.

To some people this is a lot of weight, but seeing how I am 6'3" and 265lbs it's not too much for someone my size. But since I have only been working out off and on for about a year I'm not complaining

Now where are the BIG GUYS?

I know what you mean. I strained my should about 6 months ago and have been trying to recover ever since. As soon as it hurts I stop. If it aches for a day or more then I lighten up. I just went about 2 months without lifting so hopefully it will be better now.

Injuries suck!

i am a fat idiot, lol, but there seems to be a lot on this site, im 5'11" 265lbs. i can bench 290 1 time, i never do squats because they kill my knees, and im focusing on losing weight more then gaining strength right now, but not doing well

My bench is still around 340-350. I never max out on squats or deads but last couple of weeks I did 265X8 for 4 sets on the squat, even cranked up 275X8 a couple of sets. Good deep below parallel reps with no belt or wraps... On deads I got 315X10 a few times and managed to get up and do a few reps of 350 in. I also managed 225 for 12 pretty easy so I feel good as far as endurance with my legs...

Last Sunday I hurt my ankle in football though so I'm going to be off the squats and deads for a week or two while I recover. Two weeks before that I hurt my left shoulder and could barely lift my arm for a couple of days. Also hurt my left wrist, a couple of fingers, my neck.

I'm thinking this football shit just isn't for me.LOL Bringing some of those big fuckers down can get rough.

6'0 - 175lbs and my best recent lift on the bench was 230 (back in feb) but I'm getting ready to be embarrased tomorrow and will post back up what I can do after I get feeling back in my chest

Well my weight and lifting routine definetly pales in comparison to you fellas...but I have no shame...I'll just blame it on the overflow of estrogen and my unwillingness to give into Whinny and Var.

245lb on deadlift. Though that was in the beginning of Jan and just last week I finished my 3rd and 4th sets at 195x8, 210x6.

120lb on bench in Nov. My workout now is 95x6, 105x6, 115x6. My shoulder still gives me a little trouble.

185lb full squat with the bar far down the back. Im now working out at 135, 155, 175x6.

Im due to max again at the beginning of May. Maybe then I can hang a little better with you big boys.

Why would you do that much weight and go that deep with out a belt?


as for me

I am way too weak to post up my numbers
I will leave it at this I am close to my goal on leg press but far far away from my bench, squat and dead lift.

I'm 6'0 180lbs.

Been working out regularly for about 1.5 years now, but I still workout at home and not I do it alone with no spotter so I have to take it a little easier than I did with a spotter so gains are much slower.

I was benching sets with a little over 200 with a spotter. I injured my left wrist at work about a month ago and that is limiting the types of exercises I do now, but I can still bench, and to feel safe alone I am doing 3 sets of 8 with 190 - nice and slow and controlled. I figure I could probably max between 225 and 250 maybe. Need to find out I guess. On a side note, I noticed some gains from backing off the weight and going lighter and more controlled after a month.

I am an electrician now and I get a decent leg workout every day from climbing ladders and al that crap at work so I rarely hit the legs anymore.

Gettin back in after a shoulder mishap....see a trend around here.
Bench 335x1,275x5,225x15,12,12
Deadlift 345x3 need wriststraps just cant hold anymore then this!!!
Squat real slow and to the ground hold for 2 and back up 315x4
Curl 180x8,6,5 on machine,Straight bar I do 115x10,10,8
Tris 215x15,15,12 on machine pulldowns.....overhead single arm freeweight extensions 65lbs.
Row machine 265x2.......205x8,6,5 straight bar.

And can do 2 pushups ........

6'3" 280lbs

my bests are from when i was 16

6' 165 lbs (had to stay REALLY light for powerlifting)

bench : 305
squat : 450
d-lift : 475
toe raises : 400 x 25 , 2 sets (i've always had big calves)

i would have won state in powerlifting the next year but i broke my thumb twice in football. i would have been way past those numbers.

as for the whole arguement it is kind of dumb on both sides. who cares do what you like to do and let white_lightning do what he likes to do. I mean I was happy about something I was doing only to be told that i am full of shit, and I offered anybody that wants to join on my workout for my legs to join in for free, if they charge you I will pay for it. but no one took me up on it so i just keep my numbers to myself, since noone believes me anyway.

I'm a debater, and and attorney for mock trial at school, so i try to argue whenever possible if i don't know the people...its good practice. all of my maxes are true though, i see no reason to lie about them. and for all the grammar cops out there that think its cool or amazing to point out grammatical mistakes...You're all morons. Let me spell it out for you. There is no point in debating this issue, no matter what you say or do you are wrong, no matter what side you are for. as for throwing money around I never said that, I don't need a partner I have a trainer, he is cool with letting them come workout for free on leg day, that is all, I just said that in case they are worried about having to pay.
