Best cardio exercise to lose weight?

Lately I've been trying to get back in the shape I was in in high school. I was on the wrestling team and weighed 152 with hardly any body fat. Well now I'm in college and of course I've gained weight. I'm 3 years out of high school and up to 180.

I've been eating "better" as in not eating alot of junk and completely stopped drinking carbinated drinks. I've been lifting weights and doing the eliptical machine for 20 min, but I honestly don't feel too exhausted after I do it. Is running the answer? Biking? Any suggestions to aid in my weight loss?

Run on grass or an actual running track if it hurts too much.

I run on a treadmill, seems to work just fine. A lot better than concrete, I know that!

That's what I was gonna say.

Run for 10 minutes, and jump rope for 10 minutes. Tell me which makes you more tired when you are done
