Unhappy cardio trouble

ok, like many of u can relate to, i HATE cardio...

i can't seem to be able to maintain a consistant schedule...
basically i can lift for hrs but i have to really push myself to make my self get on the bike or go running (when the weather is better of course)...
any suggestions on how to maintain a better schedule... i guess that question is directed to those who hate cardio as much as i do...

do u guys do ur cardio at night or in the AM...!?
i seem to have always worked out at night...even though most studies recomend afternoon, or morning...!
i've been trying to do the AM thing, but needless to say it aint workin well... i guess i'm just a night owl...!

Although prior to your first meal in the morning would be the optimal time to prime your fat-burning capabilities, doing cardio late at night is certainly going to be more beneficial than being unable to do it conistently at the "optimal" time.

i hear ya...
but its soooooooo boring.. i have even tried watchin tv while on the bike and its seems like i can't beleive how long sit-coms (sp) are when i'm on there....

and ur doing 40 mins...!?!?
i can barely knock out 25-30 mins...

and according to the other post on here... thats a waste of time...
i read in some book my that guy from muscle media (bill phillips i think) a few years ago that 20-25 min of cardio is sufficient in the AM as long as u have a few bursts in between for a 1-2 minute throughout ur work out...
is that inaccurate...!?

I do 50-60 minutes on a bike after i lift, always in the evening.
I just put some good tunes on my MP3 player, and go to town.

It sounds weird, but once i get in a groove listening to my music, I tend zone out. I go into my own little world. I keep my heart rate at 160+ and the time flies by.

now thats an idea...
gonna try the tune route rather than the TV... maybe that might help...
not sure...
i've seen some people even read while on a bike or stair master, or tread...
don't know how they do it...
i don't know if i'd be able to absorb anything i'm reading...
