Hey guys, I'm quitting smoking tomorrow and need some advice on some finger-food type snacks that aren't too bad for me. The last time I quit I tore up some pistachios in the shells. The act of shelling them kinda satisfied my fidgity fingers, but I'm sure that they're not that healthy. Any suggestions on something I can keep a bowl of next to the computer or on the coffee table to help out???
Sorry Doug, I can't help ya. Most "snacks" aren't low-calorie in nature, and if you are looking to replace the nicotine habit over-eating can make even the healthiest of foods a bad thing. I'd suggest sugar-free gum or maybe even celery stalks dipped in fat-free ranch.
