He's doing great, but realize that it's nothing extra-ordinary, nothing that anyone determined enough couldn't do as well. Dedication goes a long way. He's gained 7.6lbs of muscle and lost a whopping 48.9lbs of body fat, but this was all over almost an entire year. My calculation shows that he lost the fat at just under a pound per week and put on a sixth of a pound of lean mass per month. Technically he could have safely lost the fat twice as fast (2lbs per week max) and then maybe been able to bulk up a bit more than 8lbs by years end. Consistency is the key.
