Ok guys need some help... Im thinking of getting a blue ray player for xmas. But have a couple questions.. I currently have a dvd player with a bad ass surround sound but the dvd player is acting up. So my question is if i buy a blue ray player can i still get surround sound from my old system. And another question for alittle more money i was thinking the ps3. But will the ps3 have wireless wifi through the blue ray player. And what is the quality of it actulally. i do play some games but not alot. I do have a 360 and a wii. So what do you guys think and thanks for the help

The PS3 was when it came out, the best blu-ray player available. The good thing is that it still is. The PS3 has built in wireless and now you can download a netflix app without having to use a disc. The PS3 updates itself and can actually play 3D blu-ray as well.

Bar-none, it is the best blu-ray player on the market. As far as surround sound goes, I can only assume it'll work. We have our system hooked up to the TV which allows us to have surround sound on the television, the xbox, and the ps3.

There are quite a few people selling new/almost new ps3's on the classifieds here for pretty cheap, too.

The only bad thing about the PS3 is it runs noisey and is a power hog. But still the best Blu Ray on the market to date.
