Got a new TV recently....

Picked up the Samsung 9000 Series 3D LED LCD TV.... the 46" version.......

And it's everything they say it is - absolutely the most impressive picture I have ever seen on a TV of any size, any price. The view is so incredible, it seems like the characters of some programs are right in the living room with me, lol...

I really wasn't looking for this much TV, but when I went to my Samsung connection and started asking about good deals on TVs, I was pointed to this one as too good to pass up, and it was. I only paid 1/3rd of the retail price... I bought it to put in the bedroom of the house myself and coworkers rented in Denver.

Turns out I was only able to enjoy it for a month or so, and sent it home today... because I am changing locations a couple of months early, and will be staying in a hotel.. not going to lug this thing in and out of hotel rooms.

Now I'm unsure of what to do with my 56" DLP unit that's in my living room, because this one will surely replace it as the centerpiece of my home theater, even though it's smaller. I'm not sure if I want a 56" TV in my bedroom.. but it's either that, or have a much superior unit in there instead, and move my entire home theater to my bedroom, or build another home theater system around my new TV.....

Maybe it's time for a new house? LOL

Nice. I just recently got a new TV myself. My DLP finally bit the dust. Bought a Panasonic Viera Plasma.

Let me give that some thought... I will be home Oct. 1st - 10th, and if you want to come by and check it out maybe we can talk about it. You've been to my house, right?

Anyway, it's the Samsung 1080p 56" DLP, with all the good processing options. Model number is HL-S5687W
