Need help making a CD...

and I am willing to pay someone who can help on short notice. My wife is the classroom project chair for our schools auction project and agreed to make a CD that included pictures, a few short videos, and have some names, subtitles, and music playing as the pictures of the students appear. The people she had that were going to help her with the video/CD backed out on her and the project is due Monday. She has the pictures ready and the videos are all ready (two may need slight editing) but we don't have the computer capability to do this formal of a job on our computer.

If you are interested and near the SW FW area (preferably) please respond or PM me and I will call.

Thanks in advance!

Actually, you don't need any kind of enterprise/professional grade software to do that kind of project. Windows Movie Maker is elaborate enough to do everything you need. Videos, Picture slideshows w/background music, titles/captions, photo transitions/effects, etc... And under the Help Topics tab on the tool bar it provides you fairly detailed information on how to make a project Video CD or DVD, using storyboards and time lines, how to import and edit your multimedia files, etc.. That's what I used to make my Wedding Video DVD. Even can create a elaborate Disc Menu.

I don't know what OS you have, but it's a OEM Windows program. And if you have a Light Scribe DVD burner, which most newer PCs have, then you can make a very professional looking project disc. If you have Light Scribe media, of course.

I'm a long way from SW Ft. Worth or I'd offer to help you out. And I've got a busy day time schedule and am behind as it is.

Maybe someone else will chime in here that lives in your area. I know we have a lot of computer professionals on this site, other than myself.

Good luck.

I appreciate the offer, but we needed it done by this weekend. My wife found a guy through the phone book near our house that could edit video and do it all.
